GB/T 2672-2017 is the Chinese national standard for hexalobular socket pan head screws, equivalent to and modified from ISO 14583:2011.
- Covers sizes M2 through M10 with nominal lengths from 3 mm to 60 mm (size-dependent).
- Thread tolerance: 6g per ISO 965-1.
- Torx drive sizes follow ISO 10664. The hexalobular recess provides significantly higher torque transmission than Phillips or slotted drives.
- Mechanical property requirements for Class 10.9 are defined in ISO 898-1 and the corresponding GB/T 3098.1.
- Material 10B21 is a boron-alloyed steel optimized for cold heading and heat treatment to achieve Class 10.9 properties.
- Zinc plating and Cr3 passivation comply with ISO 4042 and GB/T 5267.1. Trivalent chromium (Cr3) passivation contains no hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) and is fully RoHS and REACH compliant.
- Marking: Products are marked with the manufacturer identification and strength grade 10.9 where size permits.
