About DIN 508 Standard

DIN 508 specifies T-slot nuts for use in the T-slots of machine tool tables and fixtures. The T-shaped cross-section allows the nut to be inserted into a standard T-slot and slid to any position before being locked in place by tightening a bolt or stud from above. This design enables fast, flexible, and repeatable workpiece clamping without removing the nut from the slot. DIN 508 T-slot nuts are dimensionally compatible with DIN 650 T-slots and are widely used in conjunction with DIN 787 T-slot bolts and clamping sets.
