About DIN 934 / ISO 4032
DIN 934 (equivalent to ISO 4032) is the most widely used hexagon nut standard globally. It defines a standard-height hex nut with chamfered bearing face and thread tolerance 6H, covering sizes M1.6 through M64. The standard specifies dimensional tolerances (Grade A for M1.6-M16, Grade B for M18-M64), mechanical properties by strength class, and surface treatment requirements. DIN 934 nuts are designed to mate with bolts of the corresponding property class per ISO 898-1.
