High Nylon Locking Nuts — DIN 982 | Marine Stainless Steel A4 (SUS316)
FULLERKREG DIN 982 High Nylon Insert Lock Nuts in A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel (SUS316) are engineered for the most demanding corrosion environments. The high-profile (Type P) hexagon body incorporates a non-metallic nylon insert that deforms around the bolt thread upon engagement, generating consistent prevailing torque without adhesives or secondary locking features. SUS316 (A4) provides superior resistance to chloride-induced corrosion compared to A2, making these nuts the preferred choice for marine, offshore, chemical processing, and coastal infrastructure applications. Surface is passivated and whitened for maximum corrosion protection.
Standard: DIN 982 (superseded by ISO 7042, dimensions remain interchangeable) | Material: SUS316 Marine Stainless Steel (A4) | Surface: Passivated / Whitened | Property Class: A4-70
