FULLERKREG DIN 980V Grade 8 all-metal prevailing torque hex lock nuts are manufactured from 35K medium-carbon steel with a Zinc Cr3 (trivalent chromate) surface treatment. The top-locking (Volcano-type) design permanently distorts the top threads to generate prevailing torque without any nylon insert, delivering reliable vibration resistance across a wide temperature range. Compliant with DIN 980V and ASME B18.16.3M standards.

- Locking is achieved by controlled deformation of the top 2–3 threads — no insert required, suitable for repeated assembly.
- Prevailing torque may decrease after repeated use; replace if torque falls below minimum specification per DIN 980V.
- Thread tolerance: 6H per ISO 965-1.
