FULLERKREG DIN 929 hexagon weld nuts are precision-manufactured to the German DIN 929 standard in A2 stainless steel (SUS304). Designed for resistance welding applications, each nut features three integral welding projections on the bearing face that melt during the welding process to create a flush, high-strength bond with the base material. The passivated (acid-washed) surface finish enhances corrosion resistance and ensures clean, reliable weld contact. Available in thread sizes M3 through M16 for industrial, automotive, sheet-metal, and structural applications.

Standard Notes

DIN 929 specifies hexagon weld nuts with three welding projections on the bearing face. The spigot (pilot) locates the nut precisely on the workpiece prior to welding. Upon resistance welding, the projections collapse and fuse with the base material, creating a flush, permanent joint. This standard is widely adopted in automotive body-in-white, appliance manufacturing, and sheet-metal fabrication. The A2 (SUS304) grade provides excellent corrosion resistance in atmospheric and mildly corrosive environments and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition.
